Blinded, by the smog that rolled in over our planet
The earth isn't our waste dump, it is not our gift to
destroy
The trees, the countless lives that inhabit the forests
What we should see, are dying, gasping, animals,
as apposed to the thickness of our cow-skin wallets
There will come a time in the life cycle of gaia
in which greed and self-entitlement will no longer be tolerated

Natural disasters, a natural reaction to natural disrespect
for this beautiful planet's greens and blues

The effects of mindless trash-tossing and fucking pollution
killing off the oldest creatures most deserving of taking their next breathe
Strangled by plastic, gargling oil and tar, wires and strings wrapped around gills
While we sit up above it all making a profit

Truly, its a sickening thing, human life on earth
on earth

Gaia never before felt such pain and sorrow; she provided sustenance
for mankind

Why does
all of man
want nothing but the best
and then some
despite giving little to nothing in return

Greed soon took over, alas she continues nurturing and loving all of earth's creatures

Blinded, by the smog that rolled in over our planet

We must
return
to a time where the ozone was clear and not tainted
We must stop taking for granted

We must
change our
ways of taking and not giving back, less we be taken out of the grand scheme of things forever
